Site Engineer

This market leading mid-tier contractor has developed an outstanding reputation for providing innovative and cost effective engineering solutions for clients across the mining and heavy industrial sectors. Their Newcastle team have developed key relationships with International and local mine owners, which has allowed them secure work well into 2013.
 
Due to this continued growth and success across the region they are now looking to secure the services of a Civil Site Engineer to join one of their established sites in the Hunter Valley.
 
Reporting to the Project Manager you will act in a support role to the project team to ensure all work is carried out on time and in line with project management plans. You will assist in implementation of safety and environmental management plans work with safety personal to ensure compliance across the project. You will also be involved in the co-ordination of quality assurance audits and manage all documentation accordingly.
 
It is expected that you will have completed degree qualifications in civil engineering and ideally you will have some experience in the construction sector. Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft project will be seen as favourable.
